PGA TOUR Champions Announces 2025 Schedule
2025 season to feature new tournaments, innovative formats and Champions Tour record prize money

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida – PGA TOUR Champions announced today the schedule for its 2025
season, which features 28 events and will conclude at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix,
Arizona. The 25-event regular season will welcome one new tournament, the James Hardie Pro Football
Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida. Additionally, the American Family Insurance
Championship will debut a team golf format as they move to a new course, the recently redesigned TPC
Wisconsin.

In total, Champions Tour golfers will visit 20 states and three other countries (Morocco, England,
Canada). The 2025 season will have players competing for more than $69 million in total prize money,
the highest in PGA TOUR Champions’ 45-season history.

Fame invitational – which will provide unique and exciting opportunities for fans of golf and football – as
well as the new team format at the American Family Insurance Championship. The 2025 season is sure
to be a thrilling one and we look forward to another fantastic year.”

The 2025 season will tee off with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai the week of January
13-18 (Saturday finish) in Ka’upulehu-Kona, Hawaii, marking the 29th consecutive year that PGA TOUR
Champions has started the season at Hualalai Golf Course.

The next event of the season sees the Champions Tour returning to Morocco for the third consecutive
year for the Trophy Hassan II at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, held February 3-8 (Saturday finish).
The first stateside event of the 2025 season immediately follows, with the Chubb Classic, held at
Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida (February 10-16).

PGA TOUR Champions heads out West for the month of March, with the Cologuard Classic in Tucson,
Arizona (March 3-9). Back-to-back California tournaments follow, with the Hoag Classic at Newport
Beach Country Club (March 17-23) then The Galleri Classic at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho
Mirage (March 24-30).

After the West Coast swing, PGA TOUR Champions returns to Florida for the newest event on the
calendar, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational. Hosted March 31-April 6, this marks
the PGA TOUR Champions’ return to the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Florida, which
previously hosted an event on Tour from 2007-21 & 2023. The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame
Invitational will feature Champions Tour players competing alongside 26 football legends on Friday and
Saturday, with Sunday being contested only among the PGA TOUR Champions players.

After a two-week break, PGA TOUR Champions returns with the Mitsubishi Electric Classic in Duluth,
Georgia, contested at TPC Sugarloaf. Following that event, the Champions Tour heads to Texas for the
Insperity Invitational, contested at The Woodlands Country Club outside of Houston. The 2025 Insperity
Invitational will feature a $3 million purse, the highest ever for a non-major or playoff event in
Champions Tour history (team events excluded).

Following Insperity, the beginning of major season on PGA TOUR Champions kicks off. The 2025 PGA
TOUR Champions schedule features five major championships, beginning in May with the Regions
Tradition at Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama and concludes with The Senior
Open presented by Rolex at Sunningdale Golf Club in Berkshire, England. The second major of the
season will be the Senior PGA Championship, held at Congressional Country Club in Maryland. This year
also marks a shift in the schedule for major championships, with the Kaulig Companies Championship
moving to mid-June, ahead of the U.S. Senior Open.

After the season’s first two majors, the Tour heads to Iowa for the Principal Charity Classic (May 26
June 1) at Wakonda Country Club in Des Moines, followed by the American Family Insurance
Championship (June 2-8), which will feature team format for the first time, with 76 players organized
into 38 teams of two, with the top 38 players, based on PGA TOUR Champions eligibility standards,
choosing their partners. Days 1 & 3 will feature team best ball, while Day 2 will be a team scramble – the
first time a scramble format has been incorporated into a PGA TOUR Champions event. The 2025
American Family Insurance Championship will be held at TPC Wisconsin for the first time, following the
course’s co-design from tournament host Steve Stricker.

Following Kaulig Companies Championship and U.S. Senior Open is the DICK’S Open at En-Joie Golf Club
in Endicott, New York, which features new dates (July 7-13).
Once the major season has concluded, the first of three August events begin with the Boeing Classic–
held at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge outside of Seattle (August 4-10) – before PGA TOUR Champions’
annual trip north of the border, with the Rogers Charity Classic at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club
in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (August 11-17). The month is rounded out with The Ally Challenge, held at
historic Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan (August 18-24).

September opens with the Stifel Charity Classic, welcoming new title sponsor Stifel Financial and
continuing PGA TOUR Champions’ presence at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis (September 1-7).

The Tour then heads to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the Sanford International at Minnehaha Country
Club (September 8-14). The final event of the month is the PURE Insurance Championship Impacting
First Tee, held at historic Pebble Beach Golf Links (September 15-21), which pairs one junior with a PGA
TOUR Champions player and two amateurs, providing life-changing mentoring opportunities.

The final two events of the regular season come in October, with the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS,
held at Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida (September 29-October 5) and the regular
season finale: the SAS Championship in Cary, North Carolina at Prestonwood Country Club (October 6
12).

The 25-event regular season will lead into the ninth-annual Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, which begin at
the Dominion Energy Charity Classic at the Country Club of Virginia (James River Course) in Richmond
(October 13-19). The Simmons Bank Championship will again serve as the second leg of the Playoffs,
bringing the Champions Tour to Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas (Oct. 20-26). The
season will conclude with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship at Phoenix Country Club on Sunday,
November 16, 2024.

Since 2001, the Charles Schwab Cup has been awarded to the winner of a season-long, points-based
competition. This year’s race is tightly contested as the Tour enters the final event, with the top six
separated by less than 400,000 points. World Golf Hall of Fame member Ernie Els holds onto the top
spot, looking to win his first career Schwab Cup. Els will have to fend off No. 2 Steven Alker – winner of
the 2022 Charles Schwab Cup – as well as Stephen Ames, World Golf Hall of Fame member Pádraig
Harrington, Y.E. Yang and more, who narrowly trail in the standings.

Each event in 2025 will be televised nationally on GOLF Channel, the Tour’s exclusive cable-television
partner that reaches close to 60 million U.S. households. In addition, the majority of tournaments will
also be available to stream on Peacock. Two events will have weekend coverage on NBC, the Senior
PGA Championship and the U.S. Senior Open. PGA TOUR Champions coverage is available in 175+
