Spectator Journey

DRIVING – DRIVESAFESD.COM MAIN ENTRANCE

Patrons will park for free at the Empire Mall (5000 W Empire Mall, Sioux Falls, SD 57106). Once parked, patrons will ride an air-conditioned shuttle express to the DriveSafeSD.com Main Entrance. Here, patrons will scan their tickets and start their journey.

WALKING/RUNNING/BIKING – GREATLIFE FITNESS ENTRANCE

Patrons have the option to walk, run, or bike to the Sanford International using the Sioux Falls Bike Trails. Bike valet will be available upon arrival to store one’s bike. Here at the GreatLIFE Fitness Entrance, patrons will scan their tickets and start their journey at the 16th Hole.

FIRST DESTINATION – AUSTAD’S GOLF & MERCHANDISE CENTER

Located on the Driving Range, this air-conditioned merchandise area offers top-quality Sanford International and Austad’s apparel, golf essentials, local coffee, doughnuts, and more. To enhance our spectators experience, Austad’s Golf & Merchandise Center has expanded in 2019 creating more seating for one of the most popular destinations on the golf course.

SECOND DESTINATION – FIRST TEE PRESENTED BY EAGLE CONSTRUCTION

Visit the First Tee box to watch the PGA TOUR Champions players begin their play at Sanford International!  Also, join us Friday, September 20th @ 9:00 AM for the Sanford International Opening Ceremony.

THIRD DESTINATION – SANFORD CHILDREN’S PLAY ZONE

Have fun with the whole family close to the 9th and 10th Hole. The Sanford Children’s Play Zone features the Great Plains Zoo Ambassadors, Butterfly House & Aquarium, interactive golf area, Stensland’s Ice Cream – Sanford Swirl, and Sanford TechPoint. First 100 children visiting the Sanford Children’s Playzone will receive free donuts and chocolate milk courtesy of Flyboy Donuts and Stensland Family Farms Friday-Sunday.

FOURTH DESTINATION – CLUB CAMBRIA

 Just 50 yards from the DriveSafeSD.com Main Entrance, Club Cambria is your chance to see up-close views of the 10th & 18th Holes via the pubic viewing deck and grandstands. While the first level of the seating offers access to all patrons, the 2nd level is a VIP area that provides spectators the accessibility to large-screen TVs, dining and beverage, and an outstanding view of the 18th fairway.

FIFTH DESTINATION – THE RANCH

Find the center of Minnehaha Country Club and the premiere location to enjoy what the Sanford International has to offer at The Ranch. First 300 spectators Friday-Sunday will receive a coupon for a free prime rib sandwich redeemable at The Ranch courtesy of South Dakota Beef Breeds Council.

SIXTH DESTINATION – FIRST DAKOTA NATIONAL BANK PARTY DECK

Join in on the fun on First Dakota National Bank Party Deck and have the perfect view of Hole #16 green! This party deck provides plenty of spectator seating along with concessions.

SEVENTH DESTINATION – INTERNATIONAL PARK 

Located near Hole #3 green, Hole #4, and Hole #5 tee box, International Park is the best place to watch multiple holes at once. No need to fear, restrooms, concessions and spectator seating are inside the International Park as well.
